Community Service.....It gives a great feeling

I recently went to the office of an NGO for some business there an idea clicked into my mind about community service. In our school days we were taken to some or other task related to community service like picking the pebbles from the street, making the park free from garbage etc.
we also had drives for collecting cloths ,books and toys or anything from our locality and take it to school from where the CRY people would come and take the stuff they would sometimes give us cards and other stuff at Diwali or Christmas break and tell us to sell it for the benefit of some underprivileged children who are waiting for it.
It was fun and there we used to learn about harmony and synchronization among our self . it was way of life we used to wait for such activities as it had a thrill in it and of course we got to learn and see the world .I learned how to work in harmony with others and experienced an abnormal feeling of sensitivity ,it was a great feeling to work for the betterment of others .
I remember once we were taken for a tree plantation drive from school .We were told about it a day prior .every one was thrilled .at about 9:00 Am we reached at a footsteps of a hill about 15 km from our school there we saw some people with about five to seven hundred saplings and small holes digged all over the hill .we finished around 1:00 pm had lot of fun it was like a picnics with a cause.

I still feel that i have done a bit of my contribution to the society at an Early age and now also i always find opportunity and love to contribute to the community by planting trees at road side or donating my old stuff for a cause .Everyone should cultivate such habit of community service at an early age for a better and hormonal atmosphere in our country and world .

Good Politicians.

All politicians are like Pollution, we know they are harm full but we can't help .Now a days all
politicians are one and the same, the hidden agenda of all political parties are how to gallop the common man's money and sell all resources and get money for there swiss bank account.
Talking about qualifications almost everyone know   there are a little who are well qualified in the political sector.here again i have a point Survey says that if more the person is educated the more he will be corrupt as he  know how to get out of the mess and be clear.

When asking why poor countries are poor, it is quite common to hear, especially in wealthier countries that are perceived to have minimal corruption that other countries are poor because of corruption. Yet, corruption is not something limited to third world despots. Rich countries too have been involved in corrupt practices around the world.
If the politicians will adhere to corruption than almost everyone will be as he is said to be on the top of the pyramid and the money flows from there .Countries that are very corrupt allow for the most construction fraud, which is difficult to see when the building or bridge is being built.there is roughly a one to one relationship between a nations wealth and its perceived level of corruption Less wealthy nations are the most corrupt.Corruption is the major cause and result of Corruption.

The poorest person is the one who is most affected by corruption which is done by a good politician who get away with it .

Vulture ......Save it to save Earth

Vultures have been the integral part of the food chain of the ecosystem and served as scavenger. But now the scavenger’s population is on decline drastically and they are endangered. Their absolute decline can devastate environment posing severe problem of ecological imbalances. And Indian subcontinent is especially under threat.

Populations of three species of South Asian vulture, the white-backed vulture (Gyps bengalensis), the long-billed vulture (Gyps indicus) and the slender-billed vulture (Gyps tenuirostris), have declined rapidly within the last decade and all are now critically endangered. These vultures is heading towards extinction unless the official use of a livestock drug is banned completely in practice that has caused the birds to decline faster than the dodo. This was reiterated by Indian and British veterinary Scientists.
The study confirms that the population of oriental white-backed vultures has plunged 99.9 per cent since 1992 while the numbers of two species, the long-billed and slender-billed vultures, together have fallen by nearly 97 per cent.
It is opined that a wider ban of the veterinary drug diclofenac and more captive breeding centers are the only way to save the birds found mainly in India. However, India banned manufacture of the veterinary form of the anti-inflammatory in 2006, but a version formulated for humans is still used to treat livestock, the researchers said. When the vultures feed on carcasses they ingest the drug, which shuts down their kidneys and kills them within days. The ban on diclofenac production for veterinary use was an excellent first step. But this alone is insufficient to save the dying vultures population. Vultures are important to the ecosystem and for human health in India because they are the primary means of scavenging of dead animal carcasses in the nation of some 1.12 billion people. The decline of these birds have led to a sharp increase in dead animals around villages and towns, which has boosted the numbers of disease-carrying rats and rabid stray dogs, as reported by the bystander. This is a direct consequence of the decline of the vultures.
A study followed four previous counts and was the first since 2003. The researchers have warned that all three species could dwindle down to a few hundred birds or less to the verge of extinction in less than 10 years. The researchers believe that the number of oriental white-backed vultures in India could now be as low as 11,000 from tens of millions in the 1980s. Populations of the long-billed vultures have dropped to 45,000 while only an estimated 1,000 of the slender-billed species remain.
The way things rolling up, the extinction of vultures could be faster than the Dodo, which at least took 100 years to be wiped out from the earth.

Thus..... he is fasting for us.

India regularly ranks among the most corrupt nations in the world. Everyday, the headlines scream about senior government officials or legislators being caught with their fingers in yet another corrupt pie.
The IPL row, Commonwealth Games, 2G spectrum scandal, land allotment allegations and the Adarsh housing society scam -- the skeletons of corruption keep tumbling out.
Is there a way to end this vicious circle of corruption that has spread its diseased roots into our nation's hallowed institutions?

Anna Hazare and other civil society activists have proposed a draft Lok Pal Bill to tackle the menace of corruption. The prime minister formed a sub-committee of the Group of Ministers to discuss the issue with these activists.

However, these two groups were unable to reach an agreement on the provisions of the Lok Pal Bill. According to the government, the activists demanded that the government should accept the Bill drafted by them without any changes. The Lok Pal Bill has been introduced eight times in the Lok Sabha (1968, 1971, 1977, 1985, 1989, 1996, 1998 and 2001).  However, each time the Lok Sabha was dissolved before the Bill could be passed, except in 1985 when it was withdrawn

The office of the Lok Pal is the Indian version of the office of an Ombudsman, who is appointed to inquire into complaints made by citizens against public officials.

The Lok Pal is a forum where the citizen can send a complaint against a public official, which would then be inquired into and the citizen would be provided some redressal.

There are diverging views on issues such as the inclusion of the office of the Prime Minister, ministers and Members of Parliament, inclusion of judges, and powers of the Lok Pal.

Some experts contend that all public officials should be accountable while others feel that the autonomy and privilege of Parliament require the Prime Minister, ministers, and Members of Parliament to be accountable only to Parliament. But Hazare and whole of the nation want the drafting people should have fifty percent common men and his ideas Thus he is fasting.

Nav varsh ki Shubhkamnaaye

At a metaphysical level, Deepawali is a festival signifying the victory of good over evil; the latter is destroyed and reduced to ashes by fireworks is the belief of the people. This festival is celebrated on a grand scale in almost all the regions of India and is looked upon mainly as the beginning of Indian New Year. The first day of Diwali is also regarded to be the New Year for business houses, who pay off their debts and decorate their offices for getting wealth and prosperity in the coming year.

In the Indian civil calender, the initial epoch is the Saka Era,a traditional era of Indian chronology that is said to have begun with King Salivahana's accession to the throne, and is also the reference for most astronomical works in sanskrit literature written after 500 AD. In the Saka calendar, the year 2011 AD is 1934.
The other popular epoch is the Vikram era that is believed to have begun with the coronation of King Vikramaditya. The year 2011 AD corresponds to 2069 in this system.

New Year dates of many religions coincide with each other. Baisakhi falls on April 13 or 14 every year and so does Bihu in Assam, Nabo Barsho in Bengal, Puthandu in Tamil Nadu and Pooram Vishu in Kerala. New Year in different regions of agriculturally rich country of India is usually celebrated to mark the time for harvesting of crops. While in some places, the religious minded people celebrate it to honor Lord Brahma for his universal creation.
This year today forth of april is the hindu or Indian new year celebrated all over.
