Why Work ?

Why ? 
Why do we work ? ...................On the face of it ,its a stupid question.


To live a decent life or to make our time worth ,both are important .But getting up everyday and going to work and than spending that hard earned money on our loved one some might think it insanity,while love and affection or the pleasure and sense of pride is what relaxes us.


just putting food on the table or shelter can't be the reason for working so hard .I feel the insecurity of loosing the asset which we possess at any given time can be a motivating factor for anyone to work .Our society have made some untold rules where adding to ones wealth and property is one of the duty of the surviver and it might be the reason why we need to work .sitting without any work will never stop our mind from thinking and the thoughts have to be materialised only by working .


well working even keep our body fit and in shape or else obesity and other health hazards can grip us .when we die we won't be carrying our high school certificates or any gold medals which we have achieved to heaven; neither the money or respect which we earn in our present life could ever come useful once we die. So why do we humans make so much of fuss when we know already that its of no use. I am not trying to assert that you shouldn't study or work because we all are going to die one day...but what i am asking is, what are we actually supposed to do with our lives?


for the sustainability of our next generations, man never dies, remains alive in the shape of his/her next generations.
Who are the successful people of this world now, sometimes in the past anyone of their forefathers have worked hard and given sacrifices for their generations.life goes on for generations and the responsiveness that we have to give something to the coming generations might be the force behind the whole system of work culture.

Giving

Once there were two brothers who inherited their father's land. The brothers divided the land in half and each one farmed his own section. Over time, the older brother married and had six children, while the younger brother never married.

One night, the younger brother lay awake. "It's not fair that each of us has half the land to farm," he thought. "My brother has six children to feed and I have none. He should have more grain than I do."

So that night the younger brother went to his silo, gathered a large bundle of wheat, and climbed the hill that separated the two farms and over to his brother's farm. Leaving the wheat in his brother's silo, the younger brother returned home, feeling pleased with himself.

Earlier that very same night, the older brother was also lying awake. "It's not fair that each of us has half the land to farm," he thought. "In my old age my wife and I will have our grown children to take care of us, not to mention grandchildren, while my brother will probably have none. He should at least sell more grain from the fields now so he can provide for himself with dignity in his old age."

So that night, too, he secretly gathered a large bundle of wheat, climbed the hill, left it in his brother's silo, and returned home, feeling pleased with himself.

The next morning, the younger brother was surprised to see the amount of grain in his barn unchanged. "I must not have taken as much wheat as I thought," he said, bemused. "Tonight I'll be sure to take more."

That very same moment, his older brother was also standing in his barn, musing much the same thoughts.

After night fell, each brother gathered a greater amount of wheat from his barn and in the dark, secretly delivered it to his brother's barn. The next morning, the brothers were again puzzled and perplexed. "How can I be mistaken?" each one scratched his head. "There's the same amount of grain here as there was before I cleared the pile for my brother. This is impossible! Tonight I'll make no mistake - I'll take the pile down to the very floor. That way I'll be sure the grain gets delivered to my brother."

The third night, more determined than ever, each brother gathered a large pile of wheat from his barn, loaded it onto a cart, and slowly pulled his haul through the fields and up the hill to his brother's barn. At the top of the hill, under the shadow of a moon, each brother noticed a figure in the distance. Who could it be?

When the two brothers recognized the form of the other brother and the load he was pulling behind, they realized what had happened. Without a word, they dropped the ropes to their carts and embraced ..

महान ?

महान क्या होता है और भारत है क्या महान ? जैसे मुँह पर ताले पड़ गए थे.. 


आप सबने भी पढ़ी होगी वो ख़बर- एक बार फिर कम उम्र की घरेलू नौकरानी के साथ डाक्टर दंपति का दुर्व्यवहार, प्रताड़ना...ख़बर में उस लड़की के हवाले से लिखा था कि उसे भर पेट खाना नहीं दिया जाता था चिकोटी काटी जाती थी और उसकी चीख बाहर न पहुँचे इसके लिए मुँह को कपड़े से ठूँस कर बंद किया जाता था..


"ऐसी घटनाएँ तो छपती ही रहती हैं.. एनजीओ ने बढ़ा-चढ़ा कर रिपोर्ट लिखवाई होगी.. नौकरानियों का तो यही हाल है जिस थाली में खाओ उसी में छेद करो"...


थोडा बुखार होता रहता था.. फिर ठीक हो जाता था. कभी डाक्टर के पास नहीं गई ? एक साल में कभी नहीं !
इलाज शुरू होने के तुरंत बाद ही वो स्वस्थ होने लगी.. खुश भी रहती थी 


और............


 फिर एक दिन वो भाग गई.. एक पहचान के लड़के के साथ ...फिर लौट  आई दो दिनो बाद.. लड़का शादी-शुदा परिवार वाला था..


उसे लेने एजेंट आया और उससे पहले कि मैं उसे रोक.. कस कर उसे तमाचा मारा. मैंने पूछा एजेंट के साथ जाओगी..
मन तो नही है.. वो मुझसे ज़बरदस्ती करता है..कई बार मना करती हूं फिर भी..
कहता है जीजा साली का रिश्ता है, छेडूंगा..


चुपचाप मेरी तरफ देखने लगी.....कातर दृष्टि से....

मुझे पता था वो जानना चाहती थी कि क्या वो मेरे पास काम करती रह सकती है?

मुझे मेरे परिवार  की सुरक्षा याद आई, मेरे पीछे बिल्कुल सुनसान  घर फिर किसी का आना जाना शुरू कर दिया इसने तो... लड़की का मामला है किसी बड़ी मुसीबत मे ना पड़ जाउं..

उसे मेरी खामोशी से मेरे जवाब का अंदाज़ा हो गया होगा..

दुल्हन की तरह सजी झट उठ कर बोली, एजेंट के साथ जाउंगी...जनवरी की ठंडी और गहरी रात में गुम होती चली गई .. केवल उसके दुपट्टे का गोटा दूर तक झिलमिलाता रहा..

और मुझे याद आई कुलीनता .. हिंसा वाली पंक्ति....  ये कहने में शर्म सी महसूस हुई कि भारत सबसे महान है !!!!

क्रांतिकारी कवि केसरी सिंह बारहठ

                        
सूरमाओं, सतियों,और संतों की भूमि राजस्थान में क्रांतिकारी कवि   केसरी सिंह बारहठ का जन्म २१ नवम्बर १८७२को शाहपुरा मेवाड़ के देवपुरा मे हुआ एक माह की आयु में ही उनकी माता का निधन हो गया, अतः
 उनका लालन-पालन उनकी दादी-माँ ने किया | उनकी शिक्षा उदयपुर

में हुई |उन्होंने बांगला,मराठी,गुजराती आदि भाषाओँ के साथ इतिहास, दर्शन (भारतीय और यूरोपीय) मनोविज्ञान,खगोलशास्त्र,ज्योतिष का अध्ययन कर प्रमाणिक विद्वत्ता हासिल की | डिंगल-पिंगल भाषा की काव्य-सर्जना तो उनके जन्मजात चारण-संस्कारों में शामिल थी ही,बनारस से श्री गोपीनाथ जी नाम के पंडित को बुला कर इन्हें संस्कृत की शिक्षा भी दिलवाई गई|

केसरी सिंह बारहठ में देशभक्ति की भावना कूट-कूट कर भरी थी।अंग्रेजी हुकूमत उन्हें बिलकुल नहीं सुहाती थी। सन् 1891 में वे महाराणा फतह सिंह की सेवा में आये तभी से उन्होंने देखा कि पोलिटिकल एजेन्ट कर्नल माइल्स का मेवाड के राजकार्य में हस्तक्षेप निरन्तर बढता जा रहा था। ऐसे समय में केसरी सिंह बारहठ ने राजपूताना के क्षत्र्यि नरेशों व जागीरदारों को जो अपने को स्वतंत्र्ता का प्रहरी और मायड भूमि के रक्षक समझते थे तथा ऐशो आराम एवं भोग विलास में डूबे हुए थे, नींद से जगाने और कर्त्तव्य बोध का कार्य किया।केसरी सिंह जी ने समाज खास कर क्षत्रिय जाति को अशिक्षा के अंधकार से निकालने हेतु कई नई-नई योजनाएं बनाई ताकि राजस्थान भी शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में दूसरे प्रान्तों की बराबरी कर सके | उस समय राजस्थान के अजमेर के मेयो कालेज में राजाओं और राजकुमारों के लिए अंग्रेजों ने ऐसी शिक्षा प्रणाली लागू कर रखी थी जिस में ढल कर वे अपनी प्रजा और देश से कट कर अलग-थलग पड़ जाएँ | इसीलिये सन १९०४ में नेशनल कालेज कलकत्ता की तरह, जिसके प्रिंसिपल अरविन्द घोष थे, अजमेर में 'क्षत्रिय कालेज' स्थापित करने की योजना बनाई, जिस में राष्ट्रीय -भावना की शिक्षा भी दी जा सके | इस योजना में उनके साथ राजस्थान के कई प्रमुख बुद्धिजीवी साथ थे | इससे भी महत्वपूर्ण योजना राजस्थान के होनहार विद्यार्थियों को सस्ती तकनीकी शिक्षा के लिए सन १९०७-०८ में जापान भेजने की बनाई। क्यों कि उस सदी में जापान ही एकमात्र ऐसा देश था, जो रूस और यूरोपीय शक्तियों को टक्कर दे सकता था 


सन १९०३ में वायसराय लार्ड कर्जन द्वारा आहूत दिल्ली दरबार में शामिल होने से रोकने के लिए उन्होंने उदयपुर के महाराणा फतह सिंह को संबोधित करते हुए " चेतावनी रा चुंगटिया " नामक सोरठे लिखे, जो उनकी अंग्रेजों के विरूद्ध भावना की स्पष्ट अभिव्यक्ति थी | सशस्त्र क्रांति की तैयारी के लिएप्रथम विश्वयुद्ध (१९१४) के प्रारम्भ में ही वे इस कार्य में जुट गए; अपने दो रिवाल्वर क्रांतिकारियों को दिए और कारतूसों का एक पार्सल बनारस के क्रांतिकारियों को भेजा व रियासती और ब्रिटिश सेना के सैनिकों से संपर्क किया | एक गोपनीय रिपोर्ट में अंग्रेजसरकार ने कहा कि केसरी सिंह राजपूतरेजिमेंट से संपर्क करना चाह रहा था | उनका संपर्क बंगाल के विप्लव-दल से भी था और वे महर्षि श्री अरविन्द से बहुत पहले १९०३ में ही मिल चुके थे।केसरी सिंह पर ब्रिटिश सरकार ने प्यारेलाल नाम के एक साधु की हत्या और अंग्रेज हकूमत के खिलाफ बगावत व केन्द्रीय सरकार का तख्तापलट व ब्रिटिश सैनिकों की स्वामिभक्ति खंडित करने के षड़यंत्र रचने का संगीन आरोप लगा कर मुकदमा चलाया गया | इसकी जाँच के लिए मि. आर्मस्ट्रांग आई.पी.आई.जी., इंदौर को सौंपी गई, जिसने २ मार्च १९१४ को शाहपुरा पहुँच शाहपुरा के राजा नाहर सिंह के सहयोग से केसरी सिंह को गिरफ्तार कर लिया | इस मुकदमे में स्पेशल जज ने केसरी सिंह को २० वर्ष की सख्त आजन्म कैद की सजा सुनाई और राजस्थान से दूर हजारी बाग़ केन्द्रीय जेल बिहार भेज दिया गया | जेल में उन्हें पहले चक्की पीसने का कार्य सौपा गया जहाँ वे दाल व अनाज के दानों से क ख ग आदि अक्षर बना कर अनपढ़ कैदियों को अक्षर-ज्ञान देते और अनाज के दानों से ही जमीन पर भारत का नक्शा बना कर कैदियों को देश के प्रान्तों का ज्ञान भी कराते थे | केसरी सिंह का नाम उस समय कितना प्रसिद्ध था उसका अंदाजा इस बात से लगाया जा सकता है कि उस समय श्रेष्ठ नेता लोकमान्य तिलक ने अमृतसर कांग्रेस अधिवेशन में केसरी सिंह को जेल से छुडाने का प्रस्ताव पेश किया था|

हजारी बाग़ जेल से छूटने के बाद अप्रेल १९२० में केसरी सिंह ने राजपुताना के एजेंट गवर्नर जनरल (आबू ) को एक बहुत सारगर्भित पत्र लिखा जिस में राजस्थान और भारत की रियासतों में उतरदायी शासन-पद्धति कायम करने के लिए सूत्र रूप से एक योजना पेश की | इसमें “राजस्थान महासभा” के गठन का सुझाव था जिस में दो सदन (प्रथम) भूस्वामी प्रतिनिधि मंडल (जिस में छोटे बड़े उमराव,जागीरदार) और “द्वितीय सदन” सार्वजनिक प्रतिनिधि परिषद् (जिसमें श्रमजीवी,कृषक,व्यापारी ) रखने का प्रस्ताव था |

सन १९२०-२१ में सेठ जमनालाल बजाज द्वारा आमंत्रित करने पर केसरी सिंह जी सपरिवार वर्धा चले गए, जहाँ विजय सिंह ‘पथिक’ जैसे जनसेवक पहले से ही मौजूद थे | वर्धा में उनके नाम से ” राजस्थान केसरी ” साप्ताहिक शुरू किया गया, जिसके संपादक विजय सिंह ‘पथिक’ थे | वर्धा में ही केसरी सिंह का महात्मा गाँधी से घनिष्ठ संपर्क हुआ | उनके मित्रों में डा. भगवानदास (पहले ‘भारतरत्न’), राजर्षि बाबू पुरुषोत्तम दास टंडन,गणेश शंकर ‘विद्यार्थी’, चंद्रधर शर्मा ‘गुलेरी’, माखनलाल चतुर्वेदी राव गोपाल सिंह खरवा, अर्जुनलाल सेठी जैसे स्वतंत्रता के पुजारी शामिल थे | देश की स्वतंत्रता के लिए अपना सब कुछ होम कर देने वाले क्रान्तिकारी कवि केसरी सिंह ने १४ अगस्त १९४१ को ” हरी ॐ तत् सत् ” के उच्चारण के साथ अंतिम साँस ली |

प्रताप सिंह बारहठ भी अपने पिता केसरी सिंह बारहठ के नक़्शे कदम पर चलते हुए क्रन्तिकारी बन गए. आपका जन्म २५ मई १८९३ को शाहपुरा में हुआ. आप रास बिहारी बोस के संपर्क में आये और अपना सर्वस्व मत्री भूमि के सेवा में अर्पित कर दिया.आपके चाचा जोरावर सिंह बारहठ पहले से ही इस ग्रुप में शामिल थे. ३ दिसम्बर १९१२ को लोर्ड हार्डिंग भारत के तत्कालीन विसरॉय पर बम डालने वालों में आप शामिल थे. बनारस केस में आपको ५ वर्ष सश्रम जेल की सजा हुई. आप पर इतने जुल्म किये गए की आपका जेल में हे ७ मई १९१७ को स्वर्गवास हो गया.

यह सर्वविदित है की भगवद गीता में श्री कृष्ण ने कर्म को भक्ति के सामान महत्वपूर्ण दर्शाया है | यू तोसभीप्राणीइस क्षणभंगुर और नाशवान संसार में जन्म लेते है जीते है और मृत्यु को प्राप्त होते है |परन्तु उन्ही का जीना और मरना सार्थक है जो देश जाती धर्म के लिए लेश मात्र का भी  योगदान देते है और अपने पीछे ऐसी वास्तु छोड़ जाते है जो मानव कर्त्तव्य को बतलाती हो और उसे ठीक तरह से सँभालने और समझने में सहायता करती हो |सैनिक अपना रक्त देने का प्रण दे केर देश और समाज की रक्षा कर संसार रूपी वृक्ष की जड़े सीच जाते है ,परन्तु कुछ ऐसे भी महापुरुष है जो अपने आदर्श चरित्र के उपहार से देश की नीव को सुद्रढ़ और स्थाही बनाते है |ऋषि मुनियों की पवन धरा पर प्रेरणा की किरने दिव्य मानियो से सदेव अबुझ रहेगी और मानवता का पथप्रशस्त करती रहेगी |

भारतीय मनीषियों के उर्वर मस्तिष्क से जिस कर्म, ज्ञान और भक्तिमय त्रिपथगा का प्रवाह उद्भूत हुआ, उसने दूर-दूर के मानवों के आध्यात्मिक कल्मष को धोकर उन्हेंने पवित्र, नित्य-शुद्ध-बुद्ध और सदा स्वच्छ बनाकर मानवता के विकास में योगदान दिया है। दर्शन द्वारा विषयों को हम संक्षेप में दो वर्गों में रख सकते हैं। लौकिक और अलौकिक अथवा भौतिक और आध्यात्मिक। दर्शन या तो विस्तृत सृष्टि प्रपंच के विषय में सिद्धान्त या आत्मा के विषय में हमसे चर्चा करता है। इस प्रकार दर्शन के विषय जड़ और चेतन दोनों ही हैं।वेदों के मंत्र प्राचीन भारतीयों के संगीतमय लोककाव्य के उत्तम उदाहरण हैं।प्राचीन काल में राजा लोग अपनी राजनीति में उस वक्त के ऋषि-मुनियों से विचार-विमर्ष करते थे. इसी लिए वर्तमान समय में इस समस्या के समाधान के लिए किसी महापुरुष के साथ विचार-विमर्ष करना चाहिए जो धर्म, राजनीति के मन्तव्यों को जानता हो. यदि उन्हें जीवित महापुरुष न मिले तो बीते संतों महात्माओं के साहित्य द्वारा समस्या का समाधान करना चाहिए|

Whenever he plays a role,its not Irrfan any longer but the role he is playing.Indeed it’s a delight to have such a versatile actor in Indian Cinema.He is the mega star actor who takes India to the World Cinema stage.Overacting ,which is the domain of all Bollywood stars is absolutely absent in Irrfan Khan.Irrfan Khan is one actor who will take the legacy of Moti Lal,Balraj Sahni,Om puri,Nasruudin Shah to a new dimension.Irrfan Khan makes him completely different actor is that his own natural way of exhibiting his style off-screen and on screen, he never hesitate to voice his opinion .He is a gifted talented artist .Best of luck to this Rajasthan's gem.

Global Warming And Us

In recent decades, global warming is an apparent phenomenon that brings about floods, droughts, and tsunami. This phenomenon is caused by the abundant release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. If this amount of carbon dioxide continues to grow than about  six degrees increase on average per year around the globe in temperature, then Earth will be a harsh place to inhabit for people.


Currently, Earth is on the brink of reaching two degrees increase in climate change. Two degrees increase is a turning point, where ice from the Arctic will begin to melt. Droughts and fires will occur in the Amazon rain forest, a valuable asset of our planet that produces twenty percent of Earth’s oxygen. As the climate increases to three and four degrees, glacier from the Himalayas Mountain will recede, deadly hurricanes will occur more often, and rivers will dry up. When the increase reaches five and six degree, we are approaching doom day.At this point, cities will be flooded and our social systems will collapse.


Signs of global warming are noticeable all over the world; the decaying of the coral reef in Australia is a vivid example of global warming.Global warming is an effect that we are responsible for creating. In order to protect the future of our planet we should take part in controlling and resolving this issue. Governments and civilians should collaborate to reduce the number of power plants and devise more efficient energy sources. Although, we are working on creative idea such taking advantage of energy , but the most practical solution is to be aware of the amount energy that we waste and reduce the amount of carbon dioxide that we release.
