Dilemma : Political

After much drama through out the day Mr. Yeddyurappa surrendered at around 3;45pm at Lokayukt court and sent to judicial custody till monday .This is the same man who three months back in july walked in rain along with many of his ministers to submit his resignation as chief minister of the Karnataka state.

Former Lokayukta Santosh Hegde yesterday hit at the state government terming its decision to send his report on illegal mining back to the lokayukta for clarifications as frivolous.Hegde pointed out that the State, while referring the case to the ombudsman, had directed to inquire into the affairs of Mysore Minerals Limited and its commercial activities “to fix responsibility and initiate criminal and civil action, to look into direct or indirect political interference.”He accused the government of adopting double standards as it was trying to evade prosecution of former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa.

October 15 was a "bad day" for the party as its former chief minister Yeddyurappa was arrested in graft cases but asserted that senior party leader L K Advani's yatra would go through the state regardless. The motive of the yatra did not seem to be only anti-corruption,that the 84-year old leader  is still driven by the ambition to become Prime Minister seems to be the main factor.Modi's fast for communal harmony, was critisized too it was like the devil quoting scriptures after having presided over the worst communal pogrom in independent India."

It was ironical that Yeddyurappa was facing arrest and his party was taking out a yatra on the issue of corruption.

  1. THis crook along with other political thugs who are in jail at present must clean the toiletes and kitchen of the jail for Rs 20/day labour. They should know how the ordinary Indian live and survive due to the sin of these political criminals and corporate looters.
