A New Beginning of Hope

Uttar Pradesh is known for voting on cast lines rather than voting on development but Sahvajpur ,a village with 534 voters of Ghatampur assembly of Kanpur with voters consisting of Kurmis,Yadavs ,Koris ,Nishads boycotted voting and none of them voted .Because the one who was supported and elected in 2009 Lok Sabha Election did not show up after winning .

Another Manikpur village just 7 Km from Etawah ,but electricity is not there till now ,while surrounded with villages glittering with electric bulbs so this village of 434 voters boycotted the assembly election and none of them voted. One Beri, a Hamirpur constituency village kept itself away from votes this time as it has no connecting pucca road .This village of 3300 voters also didn't see a single vote being cast.

Jamalpur village's 1900 voters boycotted the polls as they were not given compensation by the government for the 100 acres of land acquired for the dam in 1980's and still didn't received a single penny .

Above cases should be an eye opener for the people sitting in the Parliament of India . People have started using polls as a weapon and if the government or the bureaucrats does not listen and give the right full dues to the common man than he will slam by not  voting .This might be a beginning this time only Uttar Pradesh and next might be the whole country and if the situations does not improve it could be regular feature and the corrupt ones can be brought
to books soon this way .This shall be taken as a wake up call.
